ROUNDUP: Doubles teams help Gorman edge Centennial

Ryan Hidajat and Greg Ciucci went 3-0 in doubles to help Bishop Gorman’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 victory at Centennial on Wednesday.

The doubles teams of Tyler Tucky and Michael Bessen and Chris Nouis and Dustin Witherbee each went 2-1 for the Gaels.

J.C. Pauli and Travis Beck each went 3-0 in singles for Centennial.

Clark 11, Arbor View 7 — At Arbor View, Se Hoon Park and Tim Ideker each went 2-0 in singles to help the Chargers defeat the Aggies.

Clark’s doubles teams of Bobby Ou and Jason Gee and Matt Lee and Richard Lee each went 2-0.

Green Valley 18, Canyon Springs 0 — At Green Valley, Caleb Camp and Trevor Bukovi won singles matches as the Gators rolled past Canyon Springs.

Valley 11, Tech 7 — At Valley, the Vikings doubles teams of Tong Tay and Eric Herring and Boris Zhang and Vince Owyong both went 3-0 and Mitchell Diesko was 3-0 in singles. Carlos Delgadillo went 2-1 in singles for Tech.

Cimarron-Memorial 15, Durango 3 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Aaron Bowers and Brian Grupe were 3-0 in singles to carry the Spartans past the Trailblazers.

Jonas Wellen and Pablo Osorio went 2-0 in doubles for Cimarron.

Desert Oasis 11, Cheyenne 7 — At Desert Oasis, Garrison Lopez-Quizon and Max Goldman went 3-0 in doubles to lift the Diamondbacks over the Desert Shields.

Desert Oasis’ Alex Frizzell was 2-1 in singles.

Morgan Sandberg went 3-0 in singles for Cheyenne, and Josh Denton and Mark Gederos were 2-1 in doubles.

Sierra Vista 10, Legacy 8 — At Legacy, Krissada Larangst and Michael Crowder went 3-0 in doubles to help the Mountain Lions edge the Longhorns.

Legacy’s Anthony Moceo was 3-0 in singles.

Spring Valley 10, Shadow Ridge 9 — At Shadow Ridge, the Grizzlies beat the Mustangs on a tiebreaker.

Gian Carlo Touzard and Kai Debecker went 3-0 in singles for Spring Valley.

Nick Guerrero and Bryce Jaggers were 2-0 in doubles for Shadow Ridge.

Boulder City 16, Desert Pines 2 — At Desert Pines, Travis Robinson went 3-0 in singles to lead Boulder City past the Jaguars.

Coronado 16, Eldorado 2 — At Coronado, Matthew Dees and Jon Berich each went 2-0 in singles, and Marc Feldman and Michael Seitz were 2-0 in doubles as the Cougars beat the Sundevils.   

Palo Verde 13, Bonanza 5 — At Bonanza, Zach Bellon and Dan Reyes went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Panthers over the Bengals.

Bellon and Dylan Casey went 1-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

Basic 12, Rancho 6 — At Rancho, David Romero was 3-0 in singles to help the Wolves defeat the Rams.

Liberty 14, Moapa Valley 4 — At Liberty, Dylan Sidiaren and Andrew Mattingly went 3-0 in doubles to lift the Patriots past the Pirates.

Foothill 14, Chaparral 4 — At Foothill, Joel Stoker and Andreis Castronova went 3-0 in doubles to help the Falcons beat Chaparral.

Seth Tanner was 2-0 in singles for Foothill. Chaparral’s Mike Golightly went 2-1 in singles.

Faith Lutheran 14, Virgin Valley 4 — At Faith Lutheran, Tom Trowbridge and Paul Marquis won their three doubles sets 6-0 to spark the Crusaders past the Bulldogs.

Virgin Valley’s Stefan Aubry was 3-0 in singles.

Western 9, Mojave 3 — At Western, Kyler Smith, Wesley Hults and Braden Smith each went 3-0 in singles to guide the Warriors past Mojave.

Mojave’s Chris Heinrich and Ethan Ventura were 3-0 in doubles.

Silverado 10, Las Vegas 9 — At Las Vegas, Silverado edged the Wildcats in a tiebreaker.

Del Sol 18, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Del Sol won by forfeit.
