ROUNDUP: Bonanza sweeps Bishop Gorman in boys volleyball

John Grady had eight kills and three blocks, and Scott Davis had six kills, three aces and three blocks to lead Bonanza’s boys volleyball team to a 25-16, 25-19, 25-14 win over visiting Bishop Gorman on Friday.
Mike Hartmann added 26 assists for the Bengals.
Gorman’s Bobby Houser had 17 kills. Cameron Tom had 30 assists for the Gaels.
Silverado 3, Foothill 0 — At Silverado, Christian Espina had five kills to lead the Skyhawks to a 25-14, 25-14, 25-18 win over the Falcons.
Silverado’s Justin Close had four aces and three kills. Preston Clipper added four kills and three aces, Brayden Olenslager six kills and Austin Tegtmeier four kills and two blocks for the Skyhawks.
Green Valley 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Cameron Olson had 17 kills and two aces to help the Gators down the Patriots, 25-17, 25-22, 25-21.
Taylor Mitchell had 33 assists and seven kills and Dallas Halasz nine kills for Green Valley.
Paul Acluba had 16 assists and five digs for Liberty.
Coronado 3, Del Sol 0 — At Coronado, the Cougars wrapped up the Southeast League title with a 25-13, 25-12, 25-9 win over the Dragons.
Arbor View 3, Legacy 0 — At Arbor View, Ray Lewis had 10 kills and four digs to lead the Aggies to a 25-22, 25-18, 25-12 win over the Longhorns.
Landon Steele had nine kills and Taylor Jones 26 assists for Arbor View.
Ben Noel had 15 assists and Ethan Ewing six kills for Legacy.
Shadow Ridge 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Greg Smith had 11 kills to help the Mustangs defeat the Desert Shields, 25-12, 25-9, 25-12.
Thomas Rowan added nine kills for Shadow Ridge, and teammate Jake Bingham had nine digs.
Ervin Leu had six assists for Cheyenne.
Centennial 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Matt Kurtz and Drew Staker each had 11 kills to lead the Bulldogs past the Spartans, 25-22, 25-22, 25-21.
Jeff Mecham helped Centennial with 36 assists.
Taylor Sorenson had 27 assists and five kills to lead Cimarron.
