ROUNDUP: Watkins’ four-hitter carries Bulldogs past Spartans

Jennifer Watkins pitched a four-hitter to lead Centennial to a 3-0 softball victory over visiting Cimarron-Memorial on Wednesday.
Katie Lee doubled home Paige Reese to give the Bulldogs the lead in the first inning, then scored on Johnna Brown’s single.
Brown finished 2-for-3.
Hannah Williams had a double for the Spartans.
Palo Verde 24, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Missy McCormick tossed a five-hitter with nine strikeouts and supplied a double and three RBIs as the Panthers routed the Rattlers in five innings.
Hannah Stover drove in three runs, including a two-run homer, and Lauren Stover went 4-for-5 with two RBIs for Palo Verde.
Arbor View 5, Legacy 3 — At Legacy, Tiffanee Anderson went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs as the Aggies beat the Longhorns.
Nichole Diaz went 3-for-3 with a triple and a double for Arbor View, which had 15 hits.
Legacy’s Darcey Cochran was 2-for-3.
Shadow Ridge 10, Cheyenne 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Mandy Harmon pitched a five-inning one-hitter to lead the Mustangs to a rout of the Desert Shields.
Harmon had nine strikeouts and no walks.
Rae-Ann Bohm went 2-for-2 with a triple, a double and two RBIs, Mary Jordan doubled twice, and Ashley Eldridge had two RBIs for
Shadow Ridge. Britney Cato added an inside-the-park home run.
Green Valley 7, Liberty 6 — At Green Valley, Carly Smith drew a two-out bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth inning to force in Ali Bodnar with the winning run as the Gators nipped the Patriots.
Green Valley drew four walks in the ninth.
The Gators held a 5-1 lead before Liberty rallied with five runs in the top of the sixth inning. In the bottom of the sixth, Katharine Conti tripled and scored on Jacqui Cappuccilli’s sacrifice fly.
Annamarie Smith was 3-for-4 with a double for Green Valley. Conti went 2-for-4.
Breanna English, Robin Lowery, Nikki Blindeagle, Diana Cassaro and Megan Patras each had two hits for the Patriots.
Coronado 11, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Allie Amato pitched a five-inning no-hitter to lead the Cougars past the Dragons.
Amato had four strikeouts, hit one batter and didn’t allow a walk.
Coronado’s Morgan Yuhas was 4-for-4 with a triple and a double. Amato was 3-for-3 with a double.
Basic 5, Tech 1— At Tech, Lacey Romo fired a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and hit a first-inning home run to lead the Wolves past the Roadrunners.
Basic’s Megan Feher went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
Tech’s Amanda Roark had nine strikeouts.
