ROUNDUP: Desert Pines slips past Rancho

Megan Robbins went 4-for-5 with a double and a triple Wednesday, and Desert Pines’ softball team scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to nip host Rancho, 10-9.
Amber Marlett was 3-for-5 with a double, and Kylee Ridge was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Rancho.
Eldorado 10, Chaparral 0 — At Eldorado, Taylor Price threw a two-hitter and struck out three to lead the Sundevils to the five-inning win.
Brittany Young tripled and Ashley Jarzombek doubled for Eldorado.
Las Vegas 11, Canyon Springs 1 — At Las Vegas, Sabrina Anderson went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and the Wildcats scored twice in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat Canyon Springs by the mercy rule.
Hayli Rochell was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored for Las Vegas.
Tiffani Taylor and Erin Gliddon combined to toss a two-hitter.
Desert Oasis 13, Western 2 — At Western, Nicole Liakos was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs as the Diamondbacks beat the Warriors.
Cheree Austin added a three-run triple.
Spring Valley 10, Clark 3 — At Spring Valley, Jasmine Wilson was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs to power the Grizzlies past the Chargers.
Spring Valley’s Nicole Matyskiel and Jasmine Wilson each hit a home run.
Clark’s Anna Jaehn was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
Foothill 6, Coronado 2— At Foothill, Shelbie Medrano allowed just one hit and struck out seven in six innings and added two hits as the Falcons beat the Cougars.
Maddie Wamsley had two hits and two RBIs for Foothill. Kylie Taylor went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI and Rhianna Balaun supplied a single and a double for the Falcons.
Durango 17, Sierra Vista 4 — At Sierra Vista, Nicole Schultz went 3-for-3 with a triple, three runs and two RBI to help the Trailblazers down the Mountain Lions.
Samantha Juarez added a triple and a double and Jaexie Balilea went 2-for-3 with a triple for Durango, which scored 13 runs in the second inning.
Tayler Aleman was 3-for-3 with two triples for Sierra Vista.
Bonanza 17, Pahrump Valley 7 — At Pahrump, Brittany Spencer hit a home run, and the Bengals rallied from deficits of 4-0 and 7-5 to defeat the Trojans.
Valley 8, Cheyenne 6 — At Valley, Vanessa Corona hit a two-run homer to break a 6-6 tie in the seventh inning and lift the Vikings over the Desert Shields.
Valley’s Zoe Galindo was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Lucelly Arias was 2-for-3 with a double and a run.
Cheyenne’s Rachel Holly was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs and Katelyn Barnum was 2-for-3.
Laughlin 19, Indian Springs 0 — At Indian Springs, Brittany Chase was 5-for-5 with three homers, including a grand slam, and seven RBIs as the Cougars routed the Thunderbirds in five innings.
Terran Drescher was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Jordan Wright threw a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts.
