ROUNDUP: Silverado edges Basic, claims sole possession of second in Southeast

Casey Hadland dished out 48 assists Tuesday to help Silverado’s boys volleyball team take over sole possession of second place in the Southeast League with a 25-22, 28-26, 23-25, 22-25, 15-12 win at Basic.
Brayden Olenslager added 27 kills for Silverado, which improved to 6-2 in league play and is two games behind first-place Coronado (8-0).
Mike Lunen had 48 assists and Jenson Lavalle 18 kills for the Wolves, 5-3 in league play.
Coronado 3, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Brian Davis tallied 10 kills, five digs and four aces for the Cougars in their 25-11, 25-13, 25-13 win over the Patriots.
Coronado’s Cory Argubright had 12 digs, Chris Andrulis posted seven kills and three blocks, and Bryan Glenn logged eight kills and four blocks.
Liberty’s James Paras dished out 13 assists and Geremie Vang had five digs.
Green Valley 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Taylor Mitchell had 29 assists, four kills and two assists to lead the Gators to a 25-18, 25-15, 29-27 win over the Falcons.
Cameron Olsen tallied 11 kills, three blocks and three assists for Green Valley, and Dallas Halasz added six kills.
Britain Rosenberg had 21 assists and Cody Clay supplied 17 kills and two blocks for Foothill.
Del Sol 3, Tech 1 — At Del Sol, Jesse Benini had 21 digs in the Dragons’ 23-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-19 win over the Roadrunners.
Del Sol’s John Daniels had 11 kills and Eric Beil had nine.
Tech’s Johnny Wyrick had 11 kills, six blocks and two digs and Eddie Lopez had 19 assists.
Shadow Ridge 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Ryan Nolan had 12 kills and five aces as the Mustangs beat the Longhorns.
Shadow Ridge’s Joseph Pearson had eight kills.

Centennial 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Cameron Olson tallied six kills and four aces to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-5, 25-13, 25-7 win over the Desert Shields.
Centennial’s Matt Kurtz had six kills and Tyler Rodgers added four.
Cheyenne’s Brandon Jackson had three kills and two blocks.
Arbor View 3, Mojave 0 — At Arbor View, Ray Lewis had 10 kills to lead the Aggies to a 25-16, 25-15, 25-19 win over the Rattlers.
Marques Strickland led Mojave with five kills.
Palo Verde 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Shaun Carroll had 12 kills, six digs and four aces to lead the Panthers to a 25-12, 27-25, 25-20 sweep of the Spartans.
Matt Lish added 33 assists for Palo Verde, Nick Hipwell had eight kills and four aces, and Drew Topham contributed seven kills and four aces.
Scott Beckwith led Cimarron with 11 kills and 10 digs, Matt Mortensen had 10 kills and seven digs, and Taylor Sorenson added 26 assists.
Las Vegas 3, Eldorado 0 — At Las Vegas, Danny Farias had 37 assists and six digs to help the Wildcats to a 25-8, 25-14, 25-16 victory over the Sundevils.
Las Vegas’ Trevor Hardy added 11 kills and Chris Gbelay had nine.
Clark 3, Desert Pines 2 — At Clark, Chris Henrickson had seven kills and three aces to help the Chargers to a 23-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-18, 15-7 victory over Desert Pines.
George Huang added six kills and seven blocks for Clark.
Michael Tran dished out 36 assists and Dominique Lawrence had 16 kills to lead the Jaguars.
