ROUNDUP: Spring Valley girls top Western

Chyna Wimberly’s basket with six seconds to play gave Spring Valley’s girls a 45-43 home win over Western on Friday.

Wimberly also had the tying basket with 20 seconds to play. She finished with a team-high 12 points.

Jessica Davis added 11 points and Lauren Bugni 10 for the Grizzlies. Bugni had the assist on Wimberly’s game-winning basket.

Melanie Russell led Western with 14 points.

Legacy 60, Liberty 58 — At Legacy, Kendra Irving had 20 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, as the Longhorns held off the Patriots.

Irving also grabbed nine rebounds. Breanah Manley had 17 points and Kindrea Poole nine points and 14 rebounds for Legacy.

Jade Washington led Liberty with 19 points. Amanda Delgado added 15 points and Phoebe Baker 10 for the Patriots.

Cimarron-Memorial 48, Basic 45 — At Basic, Catherine Wyre scored seven of her game-high 15 points in the fourth quarter to help the Spartans rally late for a win over the Wolves.

Basic led 19-4 after the first quarter and took a 12-point lead into the fourth.

But Cimarron tied the score with two minutes to go and went ahead for good on a layup and a foul shot by Wyre with a minute remaining.

Michaela Thomas led the Wolves with 14 points.

Rancho 36, Arbor View 30 — At Ranch, Khalia Branch had 16 of her game-high 23 points in the third quarter to help the Rams down the Aggies.

Rancho outscored Arbor View 20-8 in the third quarter to take a 31-24 lead.

Erika Lang had 10 points to lead the Aggies.

Silverado 58, Eldorado 36 — At Silverado, Alena Evans had 14 points to help the Skyhakws rout the Sundevils.

Mikayla Thielges added 12 points and Shea Collins 11 for Silverado, which led 35-12 at the half.

Sabrina Evans led Eldorado with 19 points.

Palo Verde 62, Valley 36 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers led 34-13 at the half and cruised to victory over the Vikings.

Hayley Henderson scored 16 points, Meka Smith 14 and Jasmin Kiley 13 to lead Palo Verde.

Vanessa Corona scored a game-high 19 points for Valley.

Pahrump Valley 64, Desert Oasis 16 — At Desert Oasis, Kristi Daffer scored a game-high 18 points as the Trojans routed the Diamondbacks.

Casey Scheller added 11 points and Alyson Kunzi 10 for Pahrump, which outscored Desert Oasis 25-2 in the second half.

Trini Morgan and Alexus Caulk each scored six points for the Diamondbacks.

Bishop Gorman 83, Clark 13 — At Gorman, Yahindra Edwards scored 23 points to help the Gaels cruise to a victory over the Chargers.

Aaryn Ellenberg added 13 points and Amber Lane 11 for the Gaels, who led 33-3 after one quarter.

Angelena Cook scored eight points to lead Clark, which was held to two field goals on the night.

Las Vegas 36, Shadow Ridge 18 — At Las Vegas, Natresha Bernard had 10 points as the Wildcats routed the Mustangs.

Moapa Valley 64, Faith Lutheran 43 — At Faith Lutheran, the Pirates led by 20 points after the first quarter and went on to defeat the Crusaders.

Brianne Olige scored 12 points and Shilo Parashonts 10 to lead Moapa Valley.

Kelsey McCourt scored 15 points for Faith Lutheran.

Mountain View 40, Agassi Prep 27 — At Agassi Prep, Ellie Markwardt scored 22 points to help the Saints beat the Stars.

Patrice Marshall had 14 points and 14 rebounds for Mountain View.

Larrisha Burrell scored 17 points for Agassi before she and two teammates fouled out in the fourth quarter.

White Pine 60, The Meadows 19 — At The Meadows, Alex Hall scored 12 points as the Bobcats routed the Mustangs.

White Pine led 11-2 after one quarter and 32-8 at the half.

Tonopah 60, Sandy Valley 22 — At Tarkanian Middle School, Kaici Hirsch scored 14 points for the Muckers, who bolted to a 31-4 halftime lead en route to the win.

Alex Phillips added 10 points for Tonopah.

Lincoln County 75, Calvary Chapel 29 — At Panaca, Kori Gloeckner scored 16 points for the Lynx, who jumped to a 46-11 halftime lead in a rout of Calvary Chapel.

Marissa Smerek scored 12 points and Melanie Florence 11 for Lincoln County. Jessica Murdock added 11 rebounds.

Anna Duerden led the Lions with 10 points.

Needles 63, West Wendover 39 — At Needles, Alex Chandler had 21 points as the Mustangs defeated the Wolverines.

Gina Chavira added 15 points, and Miranda Brackett had 14 points and 16 rebounds for Needles.
