ROUNDUP: Wingender’s three goals power unbeaten Gorman girls

Haley Wingender scored three goals Saturday as Bishop Gorman’s girls soccer team improved to 15-0 overall and 13-0 in the Southwest League with a 4-0 win over visiting Bonanza.

Mariah Hobbs added a goal and an assist for the Gaels, who did all of their scoring in the second half.

Gorman’s Alex Holland made three saves to earn the shutout.

Durango 6, Western 0 — At Durango, Janie Bordinhao scored three goals in the Trailblazers’ rout of Western.

Josie Dean added two goals and Amanda Lopez one for Durango. Skye Allen was in goal for the shutout.

Sierra Vista 3, Clark 0 — At Sierra Vista, Katrine Baker scored two goals to help the Mountain Lions down Clark.

Christen Parr also scored for Sierra Vista, and Jonnette Cabral had two assists.

Sierra Vista goalkeeper Terryn Brown made five saves to earn the shutout.

Spring Valley 2, Desert Oasis 0 — At Spring Valley, Nelly Ayala scored a first-half goal, and Peyton LeBlue added a goal in the second half as the Grizzlies blanked Desert Oasis.

Richelle White earned the shutout for the Grizzlies.
