ROUNDUP: Tucker wins two events to lead Coronado girls to Southeast meet title

Alexis Tucker won the 200- and 400-meter dashes Saturday to help Coronado’s girls capture the Southeast League Freshman-Sophomore Roundup at Foothill.

Coronado won the meet with 171 points. Green Valley was second with 127.

Tucker had a time of 27.4 seconds in the 200 and won the 400 in 1:03.9.

Green Valley’s Caitlin Brickley won the 100 hurdles (18.2) and 300 hurdles (52.4).

Basic boys win in Southeast
Basic's boys had only one event winner — Reshawn Gulley in the 100 — but used its depth to take the Southeast League’s Freshman-Sophomore Roundup at Foothill.

Basic had a team score of 151. Coronado (128) was second.

Coronado’s Andrew Mantle won the 800 (2:12.8) and 1,600 (4:50.4).

Silverado’s Dominic Molina swept the hurdles, winning the 110 (18.2) and 300 (44.6).
