ROUNDUP: Four-run fifth inning carries Longhorns to victory

Legacy scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth Wednesday en route to a 5-3 win over visiting Centennial.
The Longhorns trailed 3-0 before the fifth-inning rally.
Legacy’s Austin Christiansen was 2-for-4 with a double, Chase Skinner was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Donald Glover was 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Joey Lauria tossed a complete game with four strikeouts to earn the win.
Centennial’s Dominick Monteiro was 2-for-4 with a double, a homer and two RBIs.
Las Vegas 9, Chaparral 3 — At Las Vegas, Trevor Lowe had three hits, including a triple, and Luke Lofgreen added a triple to help the Wildcats defeat the Cowboys.
Quinnton Mack and Wes Grass each supplied a double for Las Vegas. Winning pitcher Aldo Mora went the distance and struck out six.
Mark Faranda had a double and Raul Jimenez hit a triple for Chaparral.
Green Valley 9, Coronado 5 — At Coronado, Jordan Van Hoosier was 3-for-4 with a home run to help the Gators beat the Cougars.
Taylor Jones was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs and Brett Harrison was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run for Green Valley.
Cody Giordano was 3-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and three runs for Coronado.
Valley 6, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Jesse Acosta tossed a four-hitter and struck out 10 as the Vikings beat the Jaguars.
Acosta was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a double.
Desert Pines’ Angel Escobedo was 3-for-3 with two triples and one RBI.
Arbor View 12, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Arbor View, Chris Manning was 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and five RBIs to lead the Aggies to the five-inning win.
Marquis Towers added three hits for Arbor View.
Allan Butler and Colt Stout each had two hits for the Mustangs.
Palo Verde 12, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Austin Del Castillo tossed a three-hitter to lead the Panthers to a five-inning victory over the Desert Shields.
Palo Verde’s Brandon Laubhan was 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs, and Brian Szepelak went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs.
Foothill 15, Tech 4 — At Foothill, Kris Soto was 2-for-2 with a double, a home run, two RBIs and two runs to lead the Falcons to a five-inning rout of the Roadrunners.
Jake Ferdinand had eight strikeouts to earn the win and also hit a triple.
Jordan Stewart and Michael Gibellina each hit home runs for Foothill.
Tech’s Chris Sambol was 2-for-3 with two doubles.
Silverado 25, Del Sol 2 — At Del Sol, Drew Robinson went 5-for-6 with a home run, two doubles, two runs and nine RBIs as the Skyhawks routed the Dragons in five innings.
Silverado built an 8-1 lead through three innings and added 11 runs in the fourth.
Freddy Medina went 3-for-3 and scored four runs and Mike Meyers was 3-for-4 with two doubles and four runs for the Skyhawks.
Greg Gahn tossed a four-hitter, striking out two and walking one.
Cimarron-Memorial 26, Mojave 2 — At Cimarron, Beau Pampke went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs as the Spartans dominated the Rattlers in five innings.
A.J. Hernandez and Frankie Andrade each went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs and Brian Muro smacked a three-run triple for Cimarron.
Eldorado 14, Canyon Springs 1 — At Eldorado, Eric Larsen tossed a four-hitter, striking out nine and walking one, as the Sundevils routed the Pioneers in five innings.
Jared Hoven hit a home run to lead off the bottom of the first inning and finished 4-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs for Eldorado.
Nelson Herrera was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs and two RBIs for the Sundevils, and teammate Zack Cook went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI.
Laughlin 4, Indian Springs 2 — At Laughlin, the Cougars scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to defeat the Thunderbirds.
Zach Sesulka picked up the win.
