ROUNDUP: Vega, Silverado eke out victory over Coronado

Taylor Vega’s two-out double in the bottom of the seventh inning Monday plated pinch runner Karlie Camardella with the winning run as Silverado’s softball team edged visiting Coronado, 7-6.
Vega was 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles and Aly Kosinski was 3-for-4 with three runs and a RBI for Silverado.
Coronado scored five runs in the top of the seventh to tie it 6-6.
Akina Zucarro, who was 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI, came on in relief in the top of the seventh and got the final two outs with runners on second and third.
Jessica Moriarty was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs and Morgan Yuhas was 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs to lead Coronado.
Foothill 8, Liberty 3 — At Liberty, the Falcons scored five runs in the top of the seventh to break a 3-3 tie and beat the Patriots.
Foothill had four hits and took advantage of three errors in the seventh inning.
Shelbie Medrano tossed a three-hitter and had two hits to lead the Falcons. Kylie Ishikawa added two hits for Foothill.
Francesca Foti hit a solo homer for Liberty.
Green Valley 10, Tech 0 — At Green Valley, Annamarie Smith was 2-for-3 and Carly Smith had a double for the Gators.
Basic 9, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Lacey Romo earned a shutout as the Wolves pounded Del Sol.
Megan Feher hit a home run for the Wolves.
Cimarron-Memorial 7, Arbor View 4 — At Cimarron, Nora Murphy slugged a three-run home run, and the Spartans rallied from a 4-3 deficit to beat the Aggies.
Cimarron took a 3-0 lead in the second inning, but Arbor View came back to take a 4-3 lead on Chelsea Venable’s two-run homer in the sixth. The Spartans then scored four runs in the bottom of the inning.
Jessica White was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Cimarron, and Samantha Valdez and Hannah Williams each went 2-for-3.
Tiffanee Anderson was 2-for-3 for the Aggies.
Legacy 11, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Sierra Pico tossed a four-hitter to lead the Longhorns past the Desert Shields.
Lorena Rios was 4-for-4 for Legacy.
Darcey Cochran had a triple and Katrina Rand a double for the Longhorns.
Centennial 7, Palo Verde 3 — At Palo Verde, Lindsay Konopelko went 2-for-2 with a three-run homer and five RBIs as the Bulldogs rallied from a 3-2 deficit to beat the Panthers.
Konopelko tossed a four-hitter. Katie Lee was 3-for-3 with a double.
Missy McCormick hit a two-run homer for Palo Verde.
Shadow Ridge 12, Mojave 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Amanda Aker tossed a one-hitter and struck out seven to lead the Mustangs past the Rattlers
Casey Velarde went 3-for-3 with a triple and four RBIs for Shadow Ridge. Aker and Mary Jordan each went 2-for-4. One of Jordan’s hits was a double.
Durango 11, Desert Oasis 1 — At Durango, Nicole Shultz was 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, three runs and two RBIs to power the Trailblazers past the Diamondbacks.
Taylor Short tossed a two-hitter to earn the win.
Katie Moore was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Jaexie Balilea had a home run for Durango.
Pahrump Valley 15, Bishop Gorman 5 — At Pahrump, Rebecca Gamble went 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs to lead the Trojans past the Gaels.
Petra Baigley was 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs for Pahrump. Tranice Rankin went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for the Trojans.
Spring Valley 7, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, Ryann Schleiker tossed a three-hitter and struck out 15 to lead the Grizzlies past the Mountain Lions.
Jasmine Wilson and Nicole Matyskiel each went 2-for-4 with a double and a run for Spring Valley. Katie Garcia tripled and scored two runs for the Grizzlies.
Taylor Aleman had a triple and scored both runs for Sierra Vista.
Lake Mead 3-11, Indian Springs 2-12 — At Indian Springs, the Thunderbirds rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh in the second game to salvage a split.
Tessa Lounsbery’s two-out single brought home the winning run.
Brandi Bryl was 3-for-3 with a triple, two home runs and three RBIs for Indian Springs. Tina Traster was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs and Jerilyn Frohlich had a home run for the Thunderbirds.
Amanda Wellman was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBIs to lead Lake Mead.
In the first game, Annie Liston scored on a passed ball with two outs in the top of the seventh to give the Eagles the win.
Wellman had a double and triple for Lake Mead, which managed three hits.
