ROUNDUP: Medina’s late goal lifts Green Valley past Foothill

Rodrigo Medina scored with two minutes left in the match Monday to lift Green Valley’s boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Foothill.

Frank Strnad also scored for the Gators.

Efrain Meza scored for Foothill.

Tech 1, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Tino Carranza scored on a penalty kick with 15 minutes remaining as the Roadrunners topped the Dragons.

Tech goalkeeper Edgar Velazquez got the shutout.

Coronado 5, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Anthony Loiacanno and Jake LeClaire both scored two goals to help the Cougars beat the Patriots.

Brian Sandoval also scored for Coronado.

Danny Sellitt recorded the shutout for the Cougars.

Silverado 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Devin Diego scored two goals as the Skyhawks blanked the Wolves.

Kyle Mellies also scored for the Skyhawks. Justin Close earned the shutout.

Arbor View 3, Mojave 1 — At Arbor View, Johnny Mayorga assisted on all three goals as the Aggies downed Mojave.

Niko Johnson, Andre Winchell and Kyle Withoft scored for Arbor View.

Javier Gutierrez had Mojave’s goal.

Centennial 7, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Kevin Rogge scored two goals and added three assists to help the Bulldogs down the Desert Shields.

Isaac Ramirez also scored twice for the Bulldogs. Richard Minaian, Joe Mikulich and Riley Creer added a goal apiece.

Giavanni Martinez and Jose Orellana each had a goal for Cheyenne. 

Cimarron Memorial 2, Palo Verde 0— At Cimarron-Memorial, Chance Rosa and Bernardo Badilla each scored to lead the Spartans over the Panthers.

Alex Ramirez earned the shutout for the Spartans.

Legacy 1, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Legacy, Oscar Ramirez’s first-half goal was enough for the Longhorns to top Shadow Ridge.

Edwin Cisneros made five saves to earn the shutout.
