ROUNDUP: Shadow Ridge downs Bonanza

Shadow Ridge’s Brittany Meyer had 36 assists on Tuesday to lead the Mustangs to a 27-29, 25-13, 25-17, 25-23 road win over Bonanza in girls volleyball.

Becca Brown added 13 kills for the Mustangs, and teammate Kylee Schraft had 12 kills.

Christin Figgins had 22 digs for the Bengals. Bonanza’s Shirley Pitts added seven kills and 11 digs, and Tristan Hall had six kills and four blocks for the Bengals.

Mountain View 3, Henderson International 2 — At Mountain View, the Saints took the first two games, then held off the Wolverines, 25-11, 25-14, 17-25, 18-25, 15-8.

Charde Page had nine kills to lead the Saints. Joy Tiongson and Kristyn Gonzales each recorded three kills, and teammate Rachel Jeys had six aces.

Boulder City 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, the Eagles opened the season with a 25-19, 25-22, 25-16 win despite nine kills from Arbor View’s Stayzia Garness.
