ROUNDUP: Valley fends off Moapa Valley in girls tennis

Patrice Mayo and Nicole Russo each went 3-0 in singles Tuesday as host Valley defeated Moapa Valley 11-7 in a girls tennis match.
Jenna Beaudry and Angel Ordiway went 3-0 in doubles for the Vikings.
Moapa Valley’s doubles teams of Cassie Whitmore and Chelsi Edwards, and Erin Williams and Sonya Huerta each went 2-1.
Eldorado 12, Chaparral 6 — At Eldorado, the Sundevils had three doubles teams go 2-0 en route to a win over the visiting Cowboys.
The doubles teams of Dyana Sanchez and Gabriella Kinney, Maria Guanlao and Bryanna Gabrillo, and Sandra Real and Allyssa Gabrillo each went 2-0.
Chaparral’s Kellie Terry was 3-0 in singles.
Las Vegas 14, Rancho 4 — At Rancho, Val Shively and Danica Engstrom each went 3-0 in singles to help the Wildcats beat the Rams.
Canyon Springs 16, Desert Pines 2 — At Desert Pines, Rebecca Breland, Joy Jones and Christen Earl all finished 3-0 in singles to lead the Pioneers past Jaguars.
Canyon Springs’ doubles team of Steph Giraldo and Galina Krol also finished 3-0.
Green Valley 13, Basic 5 — At Green Valley, Jessica Hsu and Daron Willer both went 2-0 in singles as the Gators defeated the Wolves.
Alyssa Giorgi went 2-1 in singles for Basic.
Tech 16, Boulder City 2 — At Tech, sisters Priscilla and Alexis Sanchez went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Roadrunners past the Eagles.
Marlai Sai finished 2-0 in singles for Tech.
Liberty 12, Del Sol 6 — At Liberty, Riki Aquino and Eunice Zhao went 2-0 in doubles to help the Patriots beat the Dragons.
Silverado 10, Coronado 9 — At Silverado, Kristen Santero, Nicole Santero and Ashley Newell all went 3-0 in singles as the Skyhawks beat the Cougars in a tiebreaker.
Sierra Vista 17, Western 1 — At Western, the doubles teams of Lorella Vanderhooft and Leslie Chan, and Jazalyn Williams and Courtney Sunstrum each went 1-0 to help the Mountain Lions rout the Warriors.
Rebecca Ruiz was 1-1 in singles for Western.
Durango 14, Desert Oasis 4 — At Durango, the doubles teams of Jamie Dean and Kaitlyn Moore, and Alyssa Cordera and Alyse Kurley both went 3-0 to help the Trailblazers down the Diamondbacks.
Danica Ingwaldson went 3-0 in singles for Desert Oasis.
Bonanza 10, Clark 8 — At Clark, the doubles team of Bella Minoli and Gretchel Ocanada went 3-0 as the Bengals beat the Chargers.
Alison Matlovic and Tiffany Cook each went 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.
Natasha James went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Michelle Elliptico and Lydia Ran went 2-1 for Clark.
Bishop Gorman 15, Spring Valley 3 — At the Darling Tennis Center, the doubles teams of Blair Bigelow and Michelle Schoen, Erica Silvestri and Michaele Sullivan, and Caroline Engs and Amanda Silvestri each went 2-0 to help the Gaels down Spring Valley.
Palo Verde 17, Cheyenne 1 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers won all but one set to down the Desert Shields.
Faith Lutheran 12, Legacy 6 — At Faith Lutheran, Olivia DeMarta and Renee Vogel finished 3-0 in doubles to lead the Crusaders over the Longhorns.
The Meadows 11, Arbor View 7 — At The Meadows, the Arbor View doubles team of Taylor Bland and Ta’Keyrah Reid won all three matches, but the Mustangs got the win over the Aggies.
Centennial 10, Shadow Ridge 9 — At Shadow Ridge, the Bulldogs had to go to a tiebreaker to get past the Mustangs.
Hannah Barnum and Jordan Sgro each went 3-0 in singles for Centennial.
The Mustangs’ doubles teams of Jamie Andrade and Jen Andrade, and Nisha Khilnani and Catherine Cabo both went 3-0.
Cimarron-Memorial 15, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, Jeanette Salls went 3-0 in singles to lead Cimarron-Memorial to a victory over the Rattlers.
