Legacy’s Anthony Moceo went 2-1 in singles to help the Longhorns to a 13-5 road win over Western in boys tennis on Wednesday.
Western’s Kyler Smith went 3-0 in singles. The doubles team of Brian Marshall and Jacob Hansen went 2-1 for the Warriors.
Legacy 14, Western 4 — At Western, Brianna Watkins and Jen Espino both went 1-0 in singles to lead visiting Legacy over Western.
Rebecca Ruiz and Josie Morales went 3-0 in doubles for Western.
The Meadows’ Sophia Yang claimed her fourth consecutive state title in the Class 4A girls singles final Saturday. Two Adelson School players also defended their titles.
The Meadows boys tennis team won the Class 4A state title Friday in Reno. The Boulder City boys and girls lost to Northern teams in the 3A title matches.
