ROUNDUP: Palo Verde girls place three in top four to win Northwest match

Palo Verde had three of the top four individuals Wednesday to win a Northwest League match at Paiute.

The Panthers had a team score of 368. Arbor View was second at 424, followed by Centennial (425).

Arbor View sophomore Alyssa Ballew took medalist honors with a 13-over-par 85. She was followed by three Palo Verde players — Sonja Pejak, Kaylee Snyder and Kellie Watkins — who each shot 88.

Gorman breezes to Southwest win
At Siena, Nichole Corpus-Massucci shot an par 36 to help Bishop Gorman win a Southwest League match.

Gorman had a team score of 169. Pahrump Valley was second at 189.

Gorman’s Nicolette Rivera carded a 38. Western’s Charlee Kapiioho shot 42.
