Desert Shields go 7-for-7 on offense, roll over Rattlers

Cheyenne (4-1, 1-1 Northwest) scored touchdowns on all seven of its offensive possessions and the defense added two touchdowns in a 59-0 rout over host Mojave (0-4, 0-2) on Friday night.
Donnel Thompson rushed for two TDs, Chyre Anderson stripped the ball and returned it 34 yards for a score and Marcus Sullivan’s 16-yard rushing touchdown gave Cheyenne a 28-0 lead after the first quarter.
Sullivan added a 70-yard TD run early in the second, followed by a 66-yard interception return for a score by Khyriece Campbell.
Evan Street scored on a 57-yard pass from Chris Spencer, and Jordan Butler and Ronnie Green each added rushing touchdowns.
