Top athletes: Julius Kim (Jr.), Stephen Harris (Sr.), Matt Campa-Moreno (Jr.), Jason Ferraro, Cagen Combs (Jr.), Ed Bylina (Jr.), Sharif Vuich (Sr.)

Outlook: The Gators were eighth at regionals last year but look to improve on that this season, led by Kim, who was the No. 2 prep runner at the recent Legends Run. A strong group of juniors, which was the No. 2 sophomore team at the 2007 F-S Championships, will contribute. Coach Blaine Thompson is also pleased with his "very good freshmen group."

Coronado set a state record with its score of 11-under at the Class 5A girls golf state championship. In tennis, Palo Verde swept the boys and girls 5A championships.
