NY Governor Orders 75 Percent of Non-Essential Workers to Stay Home

NY Governor Orders 75 Percent of
Non-Essential Workers to Stay Home.
The order is a 25 percent
increase from the day before.
It follows an overnight
surge in cases. 1,769 new cases in
NY were reported on Thursday.
These are major shifts in life, in the most emotional, stressful conditions that you
can imagine, Andrew Cuomo, NY Gov., via CNBC.
Essential services not affected
by the order include healthcare,
shipping, pharmacies and grocery stores.
Cuomo also announced the
suspension of mortgage payments
and evictions for 90 days.
This is a real-life benefit, people are under tremendous economic pressure. Making a mortgage payment can be one fo the number one stressors. Eliminating that stressor for 90 days I think will go a
long way, Andrew Cuomo, NY Gov., via CNBC.
Cuomo stated he’s been forced to address rumors
that “we’re going to imprison people in their homes.”.
I’m as afraid of the fear and the panic as I am of the virus and I think that the fear is more contagious than the virus right now, Andrew Cuomo, NY Gov., via CNBC
