Homicide reported in Las Vegas apartment complex

A suspect is in custody after a man was stabbed to death early Saturday at a Las Vegas apartment complex.

Police were called around 2 a.m. to the 3100 block of South Decatur Boulevard, near West Desert Inn Road, according to a Metropolitan Police Department news release. They found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds who was later pronounced dead.

Skylar Gerardo, 26, was taken into custody in connection with the killing. Police said Gerardo and the man were in an argument when Gerardo fatally stabbed him.

The Clark County coroner’s office has not identified the man killed.
