Little girl can’t wait to hug her dad during homecoming ceremony — VIDEO

Upon her father's return home from serving in Southeast Asia, a soldier's daughter just can't wait any longer to see her dad.

As 300 soldiers were standing in formation, 2-year-old Karis Oglesby, who was watching from the crowd, broke free and raced over to give her father a giant hug. First Lt. Daniel Oglesby had been gone for eight month, ABC News reported

"The homecoming ceremony is all about our families who've had to sacrifice eight, almost nine, months without their loved ones. I was so happy to see my awesome little girl," Oglesby said.

The 33-year-old father said he came home just in time for Karis' third birthday.
