Police have found a man they were seeking in connection to a robbery Thursday morning near the UNLV campus.

The incident occurred just after 2:40 a.m. at a convenience store on the 4700 block of South Maryland Parkway, according to a Metropolitan Police Department news release. The robber entered the store and demanded money from the victim.

Police said in a late Thursday email that the suspect had been located. No details were provided.

A Las Vegas man indicted in a scheme to steal $7 million in U.S. Treasury checks in Utah was arrested over the weekend in Lyon County, Nevada, a federal prosecutor said Monday.
