Hole of the day: Shriners Open golfers feast on No. 15

For those in dire need of making birdie or at least par, this short par 4 was the answer during the second round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin. The green is drivable, and though the green is long, narrow and elevated, it is a hole that a player can make good on, even if he doesn't land his tee shot there.

On Friday, it played the third-easiest of the 18 holes at TPC Summerlin. There were 48 birdies and only five bogeys, along with 90 pars.

"It's an exciting hole," said Cameron Tringale, who birdied the hole during his 6-under-par 65 round. "It's a great opportunity to pick up a stroke, and I think most guys would be disappointed if they didn't come away with a birdie when they play 15."
