Everything you could ever want to know about the ‘Batman V. Superman’ costumes — VIDEO

"Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice" doesn't open until March 25, 2016, but it's never too early for fans to obsess over every detail.

Even the detail of the costumes.

DC Entertainment has released this video of costume designer Michael Wilkinson talking about his outfits for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.

For the Man of Steel, Wilkinson says he relied on "textures that weren't necessarily from our known world." There's even "Kryptonian script embedded in the suit," which no one could possibly notice, including a specific quote from director Zack Snyder that was translated into Kryptonian.

Mmm hmm.

Wilkinson calls Batman's cowl "an amazing feat of engineering."

And, as for Wonder Woman's costume, he says, "When we were creating our textures, we were referring to different metals that exist, but also creating new finishes of metals that might have this kind of supernatural kind of power to them."
