‘America’s Got Talent’ hosting open call for Vegas acts

Calling all acrobats, jugglers, magicians, ventriloquists and guys who swallow things and then regurgitate them.

"America's Got Talent" is hosting open auditions in Las Vegas.

As part of the fifth stop on the show's nationwide talent search, local auditions will take place Dec. 6 at The Linq Hotel, 3535 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Acts have up to 90 seconds to audition and will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Performers must bring a photo ID and are encouraged to register and fill out all the necessary paperwork found here.

You may need to leave some of the more dangerous parts of your act at home, though. From the audition website: "We are sorry, but during this first round of auditions we cannot have fire, swords, or other sharp objects at the venue. If you have prop or dull swords, knifes, or other props that appear dangerous but are not, or if you need sharp tools (i.e screwdrivers, scissors, etc) to do your act, please notify our security staff and we will try to accommodate you. Please bring a DVD or YouTube link of your act if your act does include these elements. If you are chosen to go through to the second round, you will be able to use your props and/or pyrotechnics if approved in advance by Producers."
