North Las Vegas death investigated as homicide

Homicide detectives in North Las Vegas are investigating after a man was found with blunt force injuries, police announced Monday.

Timothy James Perry, 35, was found at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday near East Craig Road and Berg Street, according to the Clark County coroner’s office. He died at University Medical Center before midnight, but the coroner’s office had not determined his cause and manner of death as of Monday.

North Las Vegas police said he suffered blunt trauma.

Further details on what happened to the man were not immediately released.
