Clouds, possible rain will keep Las Vegas Valley temps in check

A storm southwest of the valley is bound for Las Vegas, bringing with it a chance for light rain.

Wednesday will be a "showery, cloudy day," much like Tuesday, National Weather Service meteorologist Justin Pullin said Wednesday.

There's a 30 percent chance of rain. The storm was expected to move through the Las Vegas Valley by midmorning.

Looking on the bright side of a gloomy day: Cloud cover will keep temperatures out of the triple digits.

The forecast high is 98 degrees, with a low of 82.

Moisture will linger through Friday, Pullin said, and the chance for thunderstorms remains until the end of the work week.
