U.S. 95 traffic resumes in west valley after a 40-minute delay

A major road for commuters was closed during the Wednesday evening rush hour.
U.S. 95 at West Lake Mead Boulevard was closed for police activity, said the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The closure lasted about 40 minutes and U.S. 95 traffic was reopened in both directions about 5:35 p.m., police said.
