“This is spectacular,” said a bicyclist riding along the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive on Nov. 9. The bright yellow leaves of cottonwood trees and contrasting reddish and tan sandstone cliffs create a picture-perfect setting. Along the Virgin River between the Zion Canyon Visitor Center and Canyon Junction are some of the best areas for viewing fall colors. This may be the last weekend to enjoy the changing of the season at Zion National Park in Southern Utah.

A Disneyland ticket price increase has become an October tradition over the past few years, and another cost hike could be on the way soon as the Anaheim theme park prepares for its upcoming 70th anniversary celebration.
