Arizona baby’s death ruled homicide

KINGMAN, Ariz. — The Clark County coroner’s office has ruled the Oct. 23 death of an Arizona baby a homicide.

Kade Kryska, who was 15 months old, died from blunt force trauma to the head, the office said.

Kade’s mother rushed him to a local hospital Oct. 22 after she came home from work and found him having difficulty breathing, according to Trish Carter, spokeswoman for the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

The boy was flown to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he died early the next morning.

Carter said Kade had been left in the care of his mother’s boyfriend on Oct. 21.

The sheriff’s office is investigating but has made no arrests, she said.
