Delta Air Lines is making your technology useful on their flights as they roll out a new, free streaming service on August 1.
The airline is planning a move to free in-flight entertainment on flights longer than 90 minutes.
Domestic economy flyers on one of Delta’s 140 planes can use their seat-back entertainment systems to access the free content including live satellite TV, music and game selections and movies like “Catching Fire,” “Frozen” and “Need for Speed.”
Everyone else will be able to access the wi-fi driven service through a free app, Gogo video player. For iOS users, it will be accessible through the “Fly Delta” app.
