Man dies in Friday night shooting in North Las Vegas

One man is dead after a shooting Friday night in North Las Vegas, police said.
Officers responded at about 11:15 p.m. Friday, to the 2100 block of Carroll Street near East Lake Mead Boulevard and Civic Center Drive regarding a shooting, North Las Vegas police said. Arriving officers found a 34-year-old North Las Vegas man outside the building suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medical personnel transported the man to University Medical Center where he died from his injuries, police said. There is no suspect in custody at this time; however, this does not appear to be a random act of violence, police said.
