Two Las Vegas banks robbed, woman arrested

A woman has been arrested in connection with two bank robberies Saturday afternoon in Las Vegas.

The first bank robbery occurred at a Wells Fargo branch at 5410 W. Charleston Blvd. around 11 a.m., Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.

A female walked into the bank with a note and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, Goodwin said.

Police believe the same female walked into a Bank of America at 4801 W. Charleston Blvd. around noon with another note and also left with an undisclosed amount of cash, Goodwin said.

A woman was taken into custody in connection with the incidents as of about 2:30 p.m., according to Metro.
