Firefighters extinguish blaze at northeast valley recycling company

The North Las Vegas Fire Department responded to a fire at SA Recycling, located at 5850 N. Nellis Blvd., near El Campo Grande Avenue.
Dark black smoke was seen throughout the valley Friday afternoon.
The large blaze was by the facility’s crushers, where large hills of debris can make extinguishing any fire extremely difficult.
Multiple agencies assisted in putting out the inferno, which was mostly accomplished by about 4 p.m.
