Mayweather accuses ex of ‘killing babies’

Floyd Mayweather is facing a firestorm of criticism on social media after taking to Facebook to accuse his former fiancee of having an abortion against his wishes.
The boxer posted on Wednesday a photo of what he says is a sonogram Shantel Jackson, his ex-fiancee, had in December. The photo included identifying details, which have been blurred out in the above screenshot.
“The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a abortion, and I’m totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies. #ShantelJackson#FloydMayweather#TheMoneyTeam#TMT,” Mayweather captioned the photo.
Jackson and Mayweather broke up in 2013 after Jackson said the boxer had cheated on her.
The post was shared and commented on thousands of times, with many commenters expressing outrage at what they called a violation of Jackson’s privacy.
“Would you like someone to post your mother or sister personal business like this?” one commenter asked.
Mayweather has since deleted the post.
On Thursday, according to the Christian Post, Mayweather posted a “throwback” photo of Jackson and demanded she pay him back for plastic surgery he claims to have paid for. That post has also been deleted.
The attention may be a distraction from what has already been a big week for the professionally undefeated Mayweather, who is scheduled to fight Marcos Maidana at the MGM Grand on Saturday for $32 million.
Mayweather has also gotten attention this week for expressing interest in being part of a consortium to purchase the Los Angeles Clippers.
The future of the Clippers is uncertain after the NBA on Tuesday banned team owner Donald Sterling for life following the publication of racist comments he had made to his girlfriend.
