Pedestrian, 81, killed in Thursday accident, identified

The woman who was struck by a car while crossing Fort Apache Road Thursday night has been identified.

Bella Pascual, 81, was walking outside of a marked crosswalk when she was struck near Tompkins Avenue around 6:15 p.m.

Pascual was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. Her cause and manner of death were still pending Friday morning.

This is the 84th fatal traffic injury in the Las Vegas police jurisdiction this year.
