Woman suffers burns in fire inside travel trailer

A woman was transported to a Las Vegas hospital after being burned in a travel trailer Sunday.

Clark County firefighters responded to 2711 Windmill Lane at about 11:30 a.m. where they found a fire in the cooking area of a travel trailer, Deputy Fire Chief Fernandez Leary said.

The woman sustained burns to her hands and face and was transported to University Medical Center.

Fire investigators were called to the scene. Only one engine was needed to manage the fire, Leary said.
