60-year-old pedestrian struck, killed Wednesday identified

The pedestrian who was killed after being struck by an SUV in the western valley Wednesday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

David Farr, 60, died after being hit by a Ford Explorer near Charleston Boulevard and Durango Drive about 6:15 p.m. He was taken to University Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

Farr was not in a crosswalk when he was hit, police said.

The driver of the Explorer was not cited.
