Hit-and-run under investigation 2 miles north of the Kingman city limits

A deadly hit-and-run is under investigation 2 miles north of the Kingman city limits in northwestern Arizona.

The state Public Safety Department said a pedestrian was crossing from the median toward the shoulder of U.S. Highway 93 when struck by a vehicle at about 8:24 p.m. Monday.

The vehicle’s driver failed to stop at the scene but was eventually arrested, the agency said.

Because the investigation continues, the names of the parties involved were withheld.
