Police seek ‘pot belly’ robber who grabbed victim in her home

A man sneaked into an unsuspecting woman’s home near Pecos Road and Stewart Avenue, grabbed her and demanded money on Tuesday.

The victim was in her home around 8:30 a.m. when the robbery occurred, according to Las Vegas police. The suspect sneaked up and grabbed her from behind. They struggled, she bit him and then was able to get free to call police from a neighbor’s house, said police.

The suspect was between 50 and 60 years old, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighed just under 200 pounds. He was described as having a pot belly and facial pock marks, police said.

He drove away in a two-door white truck with an extended cab.
