For Locals Only: Find the Force, a festival or a fight

Ice-cold Yodaritas and a Slave Leia costume contest?

It could only be “Star Wars” Day.

The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay is going all out for its “May the Fourth Be With You” party, starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.

“Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope” will play on the restaurant’s televisions and projector screen, and a DJ will spin throughout the night.

Refreshments will include Dagobah Swampfish and the Han Shot First shot.

Costumes are encouraged for the party, with the best being awarded prizes ranging from show tickets to a one-night stay at Mandalay Bay. (Masks and face paint are welcome inside the House of Blues, but they aren’t permitted on the casino floor.)

Partygoers, all of whom must be at least 21, need to RSVP to http://may4thbewithyou.eventbrite.com.

The night should make for something to see, whether you know how many parsecs it took the Millennium Falcon to complete the Kessel Run or you just want to stare at some weirdos.

Just say a prayer for whoever shows up as Jar Jar Binks.
