A man fatally shot early Wednesday morning was identified by the Clark County coroner's office Thursday as 35-year-old Terry Lee Harris.

Harris, from Las Vegas, died from multiple gunshots to his head, according to the coroner's office.

Six people were arrested Wednesday in connection with Harris' death.

Arrest reports released Thursday show many of the suspects denied knowledge of the shooting and gave police different stories of the events that preceded the shooting.

Police responded to the shooting about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday on the 3500 block of Swenson Street, near East Twain Avenue.

Police said a group of men and women were seen arguing before the shooting and then ran from the scene.

Those arrested were 32-year-old Michael White, who is facing charges of murder with a deadly weapon and accessory to murder with a deadly weapon; 33-year-old Ivory Davis, who is facing a charge of accessory to murder with a deadly weapon; 26-year-old Derrick Beasley, who is facing an accessory to a crime charge; 24-year-old Ricknisha Herrington, who is facing an accessory to murder with a deadly weapon charge; 23-year-old Diamond Bevans, who is facing a charge of accessory to murder with a deadly weapon; and 25-year-old Denise Rainer, who is facing a charge of accessory to murder with a deadly weapon.

According to arrest reports, police served a search warrant for a home at the Pinewood Apartments. In their search, police located a .22-caliber gun in an attic that had six expended casings in its cylinder.

Several of the suspects told police they were at a party before the shooting at the apartment, and Harris was present.

One witness told police that Harris and White got into a fight over drugs. The witness said Harris then punched White. The witness told police he was asleep during the shooting.

After waking up, he saw White pacing in the apartment. The witness told police White said he killed Harris, according to the report.
