Latino rockers to perform at Obama rally

Grammy winning rock band Maná will perform Sunday at President Barack Obama's rally in Las Vegas at Desert Pines High School. The band, formed in Mexico in 1986, has sold more than 30 million albums.

The Obama campaign said the band's performance will be the first for the president's re-election. Maná most recently performed in Las Vegas at September events celebrating Mexican independence. Using the popular Latin stars may help Obama appeal to Nevada's growing Hispanic electorate, although polls show he already is winning the Latino vote here against GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
