Race 2 - 1 mile, Purse $28,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Coranto - Beaten favorite was claimed by Dan Hendricks; Garrett Gomez riding for that man Rafael Bejarano.

8 Street Rocket - Jeff Mullins barn has been heating up the past few weeks; Joe Talamo takes over for Alonso Quinonez.

Long Shot - 3 Surely Swift

Race 3 - 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $71,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Perfecta - Like the pace scenario for this closer type; notice the MSW win came as soon as she went 2-turns for the first time.

2 Highly Rated - May have the wrong favorite as the Richard Mandella grad looks strong; may have to duel early with Glowing Spirit.

Long Shot - 4 Glowing Spirit

Race 4 - 1 mile, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 Smil'n From Above - Sliding down the claiming ladder to this career low level; tactical speed to sit a decent trip.

8 Vaadka Logic - Tough parking lot post with a short run to the first turn; has good early speed to try to find a spot.

9 Mia Isabel - Could be a big day for Garrett Gomez; last time she ran for $40K, she was a winner under Eswan Flores.

2 Candy Trophy - Taking a huge class drop racing first time for a price tag; class relief and tactical speed to carve out a trip.

5 Ondine - Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry so keep an eye on Book Club; lean to this one by Medaglia d'Oro, a $100K stallion.

8 Lady Katfish - Was well bet in debut and was well meant too; tight third finish in debut, the key is which way she goes, up or down.

5 Explain - Like this ship and win horse coming from Churchill Downs; Kentucky and Florida stock has run much better than the Texas horses.

12 Fast N Furius Cat - Tough parking post but has a rider, Garrett Gomez, who can carve out a trip; early speed to spare.

Long Shot - 8 Charlie Company

Race 8 - 1 3/8th miles (turf), $200,000 Del Mar Handicap, 3-year-olds and up

7 Dhaamer - Last time won as easily as a horse can possible win a race; this is a tougher group, but he is in dead stroke right now.

1 Casino Host - Sat far back last time behind a dawdling early pace; closed well but never had a chance after the first half mile.

Long Shot - 4 Interaction

Race 9 - 6 furlongs, Purse $32,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Roman Charity - Has won two in a row, got claimed by Julio Canani; subtle class rise but she is in top form right now.

9 Princess Suances - Taking a huge class drop to face much easier; been away 10-weeks, returns in a red flag spot.

Long Shot - 2 Appealing Resume

Race 10 - 6 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up

2 Dr. Nip - Looks like one of the strongest favorites on the card; Leandro Mora is listed for the suspended trainer Doug O'Neill.

11 Midnight Raven - Tepid chalk off a strong second last time; second start off a 10-month hiatus, key will be if he bounces.
