Woman dies in early morning crash

A 23-year-old woman was killed early Friday when her car ran off the road and tumbled into a drainage ditch in the northwest valley.

Courtney Moyer was driving south on Oso Blanca Road, near U.S. Highway 95 and Elkhorn Road, about 3:30 a.m. when her 1996 Honda Accord crashed, Las Vegas police said.

The car ran off the right side of the road and into a drainage ditch, where it rolled. Moyer was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, police said.

She died at the scene.
