Boulder City guild stages art festival

The Boulder City Art Guild's 27th annual Fine Arts Festival takes over Bicentennial Park this weekend, showcasing the work of more than 130 Southwestern artists.
Featured artists include watercolorist Aileen Dike, sculptor Shannon Macklin and photographer Kathy Burks .
The event is the Boulder City Art Guild's annual fundraiser, the festival funds scholarships for high school seniors planning to study art in college.
The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Bicentennial Park, located at Nevada Way and Colorado Street in Boulder City. Admission is free; more information is available at 293-2138 or online at www.bcfineartsfestival.com.
