Artists combine talents for Spring Artwalk in Summerlin

The annual Spring Artwalk, sponsored by Mark Vranesh Studio, will be Saturday and Sunday in Summerlin's Trails Village Center, 1970 Village Center Circle.

The event is open free to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The festival brings together some of the finest artists and craftsmen from Southern Nevada, California, Arizona, Utah and Colorado to display and sell their works in the areas of painting, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, jewelry and glass. Unusual crafts also are included in the show.

The Women's Club of Summerlin will host a children's reading booth in the festival's food court area. Other community groups, including the Nevada Clay Guild and the Las Vegas Fiber Arts Guild, will demonstrate various art techniques.
