He's made stars out of more freaks than P.T. Barnum.
He's even made paying for radio seem second nature.
Now, Howard Stern is embarking on his greatest challenge yet: making "America's Got Talent" (8 p.m. Monday, KSNV-TV, Channel 3) must-see TV.
It's already summer's most-watched show, but it's always too concerned with unearthing the next Susan Boyle-style, feel-good triumph to embrace its inner "Gong Show."

The crazier the acts the better.
And who better than Stern to champion them?
