Man arrested in 2011 strip club shooting

A 27-year-old man was arrested on a murder charge Thursday in connection with a shooting at a strip club last year.

Terrell Lamount Durr was arrested on charges of murder with a deadly weapon and battery with a deadly weapon, jail records show.

Robert James Turman, 23, was shot and killed about 4:45 a.m. on Nov. 27 outside the Deja Vu club at 4740 block of Arville Street near Tropicana Avenue, west of the Strip.

Las Vegas police said two men were asked to leave the club. Once outside, Turman was shot while standing in the club's valet parking area.

He died at University Medical Center.

Another man, who appeared to have no connection to the men in the altercation, was shot in the foot. That man was expected to be OK, police said.

The shooting appeared to be gang-related, police said.
