Charlie Wilson hitting Hilton

Sometimes it's rags to riches to rags again, and Charlie Wilson has been there and back.

Wilson and his brothers exploded out of Oklahoma with The Gap Band's "You Dropped a Bomb on Me." But he lost it all to addiction and homelessness, before battling back with the amazing comeback single, "There Goes My Baby."

"Uncle Charlie" teams with El DeBarge ("Rhythm of the Night") for an old-school soul throwdown hosted by comedian Damon Williams at 9 p.m. today and Saturday at the Las Vegas Hilton, 3000 Paradise Road. Tickets are $77.45-$92.85; call 732-5755.
