Race 1 - 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 7 feet), Purse $65,000, Optional claiming $80,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

3 Wallstreeter - Has been beaten of late by many graded stakes winner Zazu, Nereid, Cambina; she can be the boss today.

1 Artuya - Speed and the rail with the turf rail out 7 feet; lone Bob Baffert starter today, he's been quiet so far.

Long Shot - 7 Hard Sun

Race 2 - 1 mile, Purse $70,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds and up

3 Warning Song - Third start off a brief 2-month hiatus; Mike Mitchell found a good spot for a confidence booster.

5 Shrug - Won wire-to-wire in last when no one wanted the early lead; suspect Brice Blanc would rather sit a trip.

Long Shot - 4 Gold Medallion

Race 3 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 7 feet), Purse $63,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Warren's Today - Flattered in last when Butterfly Beach won next out; third start off a 3-month hiatus.

6 Little Unusual - Had trouble from the eighth pole to the finish in debut; had pace late, now stretching out.

Long Shot - 3 Alala

Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $33,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds

4 Gutshot Straight - Clear chalk off two daylight wins; whoever goes with him may pay the price of dueling into submission.

3 Los Bomberos - Joel Rosario had choices and opted to stick with John Sadler; his race two back was a good one.

Long Shot - 1 Polly's Dancer

Race 5 - 6 furlongs, Purse $37,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Private Bounty - Had the lead in deep stretch but could not hold on; moves from outside to inside saving ground.

6 Hurricane Harbor - Key vote is the one of Garrett Gomez; Walther Solis taking the blinkers off, expect rating tactics.

Long Shot - 4 Cragmont

Race 6 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 7 feet), Purse $65,000, Allowance, 3-year-olds and up

3 Renegade Storm - Rafael Bejarano had multiple choices and opted for Marty Jones; dead-late closer flies late.

9 Royal F J - Another dead-late closer in a race jammed with early speed; has run 3 good turf races at Del Mar.

Long Shot - 11 Mr. Make Believe

Race 7 - 1 1/2 miles, $125,000 Cougar II Handicap, 3-year-olds and up

1 Bourbon Bay - Exits two grade 1 stakes for this much easier spot; strictly a prep race for bigger fish.

4 Setsuko - Can't put him any higher because he refuses to win; he may be a poster child for the herd mentality.

Long Shot - 5 Times Gone By

Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds

6 Toluca - FTS from Jeff Mullins has been working well for debut; most with experience don't show a thing.

3 Warren's Fancy - Like that Garrett Gomez is riding in a bottom maiden claimer; blinkers on today for focus.

Long Shot - 5 Madoffwiththemoney

Best Bet - 3 Wallstreeter (race 1)

Del Mar Thursday - Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 16/2/$11.20; Long Shots, 7/1/$16.00; Best Bet, 1/0/$0

Del Mar Totals - 116/29/$232.40; Long Shots, 55/5/$64.60; Best Bets, 7/1/$4.40

SIMULCAST PLAY OF THE DAY - 4 Technicality (2/1) in race 1 at Monmouth Park. For scoring purposes, we'll make a hypothetical $2 win, place and show bet, $6 total. On Thursday, Kinda Spicy won at Saratoga paying $4.50 to win, $3.40 to place and $3.00 to show. Stats - 123/77/$634.10
